I am a sociologist who writes on issues related to organized labor, social movements, and comparative social policy. My research has been published in Social Forces, Social Policy & Administration, Social Politics, and Work, Employment & Society, among other outlets. Funding for my current and former projects have been awarded by the European Commission (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions 742339-ERA), Forte: Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare (2019-00337), and the Swedish Research Council (2023-01349; with P.I. Katrin Uba, 2019-02918).
I received my Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2016 and have previously held positions at Uppsala University's Department of Government, the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, and the National Science Foundation Center for Nanotechnology in Society at UCSB.
