Data

My research often requires independent collection of new policy data. When possible, I make this data publicly available to support future research.

United States, subnational policy - i.e., medical, parental, family, and sick leave

Click here for timeline of leave legislation across fifty states from 1942 to 2017.

Cross-national family policy - i.e., paternity and parental leave provisions

Data covers 22 countries from 1963 to 2018. Development of data sets are ongoing and supported by the European Commission (742339-ERA) and Forte (2019-00337).

Forthcoming! Timeline of family policy reforms with a focus on leave right for fathers/partners.

Forthcoming! Annual-time indicators of changes in fathers' leave duration and benefit levels.
